When a gang of young German terrorists find themselves short of a trained assassin, the unlucky man they choose as replacement lives in Scotland. His name is Mark Fraser, a retired 'hit-man' for British Intelligence. The terrorists' persuasive measures are simple: they kidnap his wife and imprison her in a Spanish villa, either Fraser assassinates a West German newspaper magnate or they kill her. Mark's trip to Spain is no holiday and he is forced to employ all his old skills as an eliminator in his encounters with former colleagues, terrorists and KGB.
